    Ryan T. Hagan, DMD is originally from and grew up in New Bern, North Carolina. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Dental Medical Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. His Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training was initiated at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center followed by an intensive, one year fully accredited fellowship in Facial Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery in Mississippi.

    Dr. Hagan enjoys both the clinical and academic aspects of surgery and has published in various peer-reviewed professional journals. He also enjoys teaching and has lectured on topics ranging from dental implants and adjunctive reconstructive techniques to facial cosmetic and trauma surgery. Dr. Hagan is a member of several professional organizations, including:

    Dr. Hagan feels fortunate to have had extensive surgical training. His practice focuses in the disciplines of ambulatory parenteral anesthesia administration, third molar (wisdom tooth) removal, dental implantology, facial traumatic and reconstructive surgery, and facial cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Hagan and his clinical staff maintain active certifications in ACLS. Dr. Hagan and his wife have two children and in his spare time he enjoys water sports, golf, fishing, and live music.
